Me Kong Delta 2

We started off the second day of the tour at a rice husking plant, where I saw some of the dirtiest machinery I had ever seen in my life.

Then we went to a rice noodle factory which was actually pretty cool. This guy is making a crepe type thing out of the rice flour, which they then put out in the sun to dry. . .

and then sliced up into noodles.

We floated through the famous floating market in the Delta.

You can tell what the people in the market have for sale because they tie the vegetables they are selling to a pole on their boat.

When we were on one of the smaller rivers we ran over a rock.....which we were told when our boat stopped working in the middle of the river. We must have travelled this section of the river for about an hour--the motor would start working and we'd go 200 meters, at which point the motor would die and we'd float back to where we started. There was at least one person happy we were stuck though...
